The company

  • Let's start with what's not in there - no caking agents, synthetic fillers or nasties. You signed up for goodness to fuel your brain, so that’s exactly what you’re getting. (We were pretty shocked when we found out what was lurking in other supplements.)

    We started with the idea of brain optimisation; examined urban lifestyles to understand what might be lacking and then combined the key vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and polyphenols to bridge the gaps. Every ingredient has been chosen because it has the most scientific efficacy for brain health.

    We’ve only included nutrients that are less available in the average diet, and we have optimised the doses in line with what the research tells us is effective.

    **Other multivitamins might provide an array of exciting-sounding compounds - but include them at doses that are nowhere near effective, or in combinations that mean they can’t be absorbed into your body. For example, did you know that vitamin D3 needs to be taken alongside a fat in order to be absorbed? That’s why Heights’ capsule-in-a-capsule wraps the nutrients in Omega 3 oil - to make sure you can absorb everything properly (and stop you from feeling nauseous).

  • If you're looking for a high-quality supplement that will give you an insurance policy against the nutrients that many of us are short of, you've come to the right place. Heights is engineered based on the nutritional needs of adults over 18, but it’s safe to start taking them at 12 if you like.

    If you’re pregnant, we’d suggest switching to a prenatal vitamin, then consult with your doctor about when to continue with Heights. (Just drop us an email at support@yourheights.com and we’ll pause your subscription until you’re ready to come back.)

  • 100%. It was essential for us to create a product that can be taken by everyone, whatever your circumstance, without having to compromise on quality. That’s why everything in Heights is plant-based and allergen-free. (If you have any specific concerns about allergens, please reach out to support@yourheights.com and we’ll be happy to help.)

  • Often, supplement companies start with a product and then find celebrities willing to endorse it. We started with experts and a target market and built a supplement based on scientific evidence and what our brains actually need.

    We haven't taken any short cuts or made any significant compromises. We believe in providing a product that will work for you and we have built a platform to keep you engaging with us so we can hear your feedback and you can share your experience (if you like!).

  • It's 2 years. But it doesn't sit on a shelf, it goes straight to you.

    That way, if better quality, more bioavailable ingredients come along - we can be innovative and make updates quickly to ensure our supplements are the best they can be.

  • We put a lot of thought into our product to make sure that our impact on the earth is as small as it can be. All our ingredients are sustainably sourced; every bit of the packaging is recyclable, and the outer box is compostable too. 

    And, we chose each element to be as light as possible - because the lighter it is, the smaller our carbon footprint.

  • Heights provides the best quality nutrients we can bring you in a way that fits in with your lifestyle. Having suboptimal levels of these nutrients in your diet is unhealthy so keeping your levels are topped up is a clear winner.

  • Yes, children over 12 years.

  • Long words alert! Our capsules are made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), also known as hypromellose. It’s produced from cellulose, a natural polymer and fibre that can withstand temperature deviations.

    Additionally, HPMC products are Kosher, Vegetarian Society and Vegan* certified.

  • Some of the pills will be a darker colour because the oil may have leaked inside the inner capsule. Don't worry, that's totally normal, and doesn't affect the efficacy or strength of your dosage. Another way to look at it is some of the pills have a little more personality than others!

    If you’re still concerned that this month’s bottle looks a bit different, send a pic to support@yourheights.com and we’ll take a look.

  • This may look alarming, but the same thing happens if you eat loads of asparagus and kale - that's the vitamin B2 (riboflavin) working. It's nothing to worry about; in fact, it's good for you.

  • We worked hard to make sure that (unlike many supplements), you can take Heights at any time of day, with or without food, and still get all the benefits and absorption you'd expect - thanks to our smarter capsule-in-a-capsule format.

    Whether you choose to take it with your morning coffee, when you sit down at your desk, or before you go to bed is up to you but we recommend you take two together at the same time every day, whenever works best for you.

We’ll also be happy to help pick a good time if you’re taking other supplements too, as they may interfere with absorption - so timing is everything!

  • It is best to store your supplements out of direct sunlight and in a place that doesn't get too warm as some nutrients can be affected by heat and light.

  • Not in the traditional sense, but you will likely have much more yellow urine, don't worry - it's a good thing. It comes from vitamin B2, aka riboflavin. It would also happen if you ate a lot of kale and asparagus.

    Rarely, you might find yourself with an upset stomach after taking Heights. If this happens to you, our dietitians suggest you try splitting the dose (one in the morning, one at night), and taking it with food. Although Heights is designed to be safe to take without food, everyone’s digestion is different and some may be more sensitive than others.

  • While we can't see any reason not to, it is always best to check with your doctor or a pharmacist before taking supplements with prescription medication.

    There is some emerging data on how taking some of the nutrients in Heights alongside treatment for anxiety, depression and ADHD can make the medication work more effectively but we'd really rather you chatted to your doctor before you give it a go.

Your subscription

  • Nutritional supplements are a commitment, not a one time fling. Research shows that the more consistently you take them, the more effective they are at keeping you at your best. By subscribing, keeping your nutrition on track is one less thing you have to think about.

  • Easy. We send you a box of monthly supplements every thirty days, to your door. You can manage your subscription from your My Account section, or shoot us a quick message to support@yourheights.com and we’ll take care of anything you might need.

  • Right now we don’t have an option to place a one-off order, because research shows that the longer you take supplements, the more effective they are - which is why we think a subscription is the best way to get the full benefits. But, if you’d like to give Heights a try before you commit, place an order with us for your first month and then pop your subscription on hold while you try them out. To pause your subscription, just let us know at support@yourheights.com and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • You’ll get charged straight away when you order for the first time, then each month we’ll send you a heads up a few days before we send out your next shipment.

  • No worries, these things happen! Get in touch with support@yourheights.com and we’ll remedy that for you.

    • If you’ve ended up with a stockpile - don’t worry. Just drop us a line at support@yourheights.com and we can pause your membership for as long as you need (up to 2 months). Then, when you’re ready to start again just let us know.

    • You can rejoin the Heights tribe any time. Just reach out to support@yourheights.com, and we’ll sort everything out, (and send you a virtual welcome back fist bump 👊).

    • Of course! If you’ve ended up with a few days leftover, or if you need to delay for any other reason - drop us an email at support@yourheights.com and we’ll take care of that for you (as long as your order isn’t already on its way).

    • We pride ourselves on packaging and shipping orders within hours of processing payments, so once your payment has gone through, sadly we can’t cancel your order as it will have been sent off to processing already.

      You can of course pause, or delay a shipment though - just let us know at support@yourheights.com and we’ll organise it all.

    • If you’ve decided that Heights isn’t for you, we’ll be sad that you’re leaving. But, don’t worry, we won’t make it awkward. Just log in to your account, and you can cancel from there.

      If you just haven’t nailed the habit yet, or need more time to finish your bottle - we can pause your subscription for a bit too. Let us know what you need at support@yourheights.com.

      Any orders that are already processed will arrive as usual, you’ll be able to see where you’re at in your subscription by going to your Order History, and, if you’ve been billed already - the cancellation will take effect from your next billing cycle.

      If you have an annual subscription, you won’t be able to cancel mid-term - but you can opt-out of auto-renewal by contacting us at support@yourheights.com.

      We'll ask you a few questions about why you're cancelling, just so we can learn what we could be doing better. But it won’t take ages, promise. Thanks for giving us a try!

    • We're now sending brain food around the world to most countries, just select yours at checkout (NB we are only charging in pounds for now, but more local currencies are on their way).     • If you’re within the UK, shipping is included in your membership. If you’re further afield, shipping fees vary by destination and is calculated at checkout.

    • If your delivery address is within the UK, you don't need to worry about any extra tax charges. If your delivery address is outside the UK, you might end up with import duties and taxes (including VAT), which will be calculated once they reach your home turf. Customs policies and practices are totally different from country to country - so we'd recommend getting in touch with your local customs office so you know what to expect and don't get any nasty surprises! You'll need to pay any charges before your Heights can be delivered.

    • Shacking up with someone new? Spending the winter somewhere warmer? Moving to a cabin in the woods? No worries. You can update your details anytime. Just log into your account, hit ‘subscriptions’, then click ‘edit’ under your default address.

    • If your Heights hasn’t arrived, please let us know asap at support@yourheights.com and we’ll send out a search party** to track them down for you.

    Billing

    • We do, that’s how we’re able to process your monthly payments. But don’t worry, our site is Level 1 PCI compliant - which, in English, means we meet the highest set of security standards. We’ve got your back.

    • Got a new card? Update it by logging in to your account, clicking ‘billing information’, then ‘update card’. Easy.

    • If your card on file was declined on the first attempt to process your order, that attempt would still show up on your bank statement as an authorisation hold. Don’t worry, you’ll only be charged once.
