Biotic⁺

Our human trial (in vivo)

We ran a placebo-controlled trial with Atlas BioMed and Thriva to measure the effects of Biotic⁺ (7 bacteria strains + zinc) on the microbiome. Over 8 weeks, 28 healthy adults self-reported on mood and general health, and gave stool samples for testing.

maintained or increased microbial diversity

felt an improvement in mood

reported better general health

Third-party lab testing (in vitro)

We sent Biotic⁺ to ProDigest to test bacteria survivability. They replicated fasted conditions (results may differ under fed conditions) in the upper digestive tract using their SHIME® (Simulator of the Human Intestinal Microbial Ecosystem) model.

Did you know?

Leading capsules contain <10% of the live bacteria stated on the label, and they often die before reaching the gut.

Studies you can trust

Conducting your own studies takes time and effort—that’s why it’s not the industry norm. We review the latest literature, invest in trials, and share our findings. So you can count on every capsule.
